Quotes in Picture Frames

image

What I’m totes j’adoring this week is quotes in picture frames. Every single room in my home has at least one or two dotted around the walls or propped up on an available surface. The main purpose of displaying these sacred sayings is to constantly remind me of the important things I don’t ever want to forget. That may sound silly but the problem with the real world (as oppose to the Faery one) is that it has a way of getting stressy messy and in busy moments connected to the daily grind it is all too easy to lose sight of the positive mantras which I like to hold forefront in my mind. Things like:
‘Don’t forget to be fabulous’
‘You did not wake up this morning to be mediocre’
‘Thoughts are things’
‘Today I am thankful’
‘Every day is a new adventure’
When I am being a particularly grumpy human – usually first thing in a morning – when I go to brush my teeth I see ‘Make Today Amazing’ by my sink and it totally changes my outlook. While I’m applying my lipstick and straightening my hair, I have ‘Keep calm and think pink and sparkly’ taped to my mirror and it lifts my mood sky high. One of my favest pastimes is scrawling the Internet for inspiring quotes which personally touch me or move me on a deep level. Many high street shops have now caught onto the fact that girls love quotes and are mass producing their own excellent ornamental merchandise. Primark in particular have an awesome range out at the moment and they’re so cheap. I’m mucho in love with my ‘Life is Lovely’ one from there which I have hung on my bed. There’s nothing better than designing your own though and this way I can combine my love of words with my obsession for beautiful white Gustavian picture frames. A gorgeous frame can totally transform the look and feel of any living space. So get creative and surround yourself with your own mantras. I even have them on my desk and locker at work to remind me to slow down and breathe when chores get tough. I have them on the dashboard of my car to see when I’m driving and tucked into the pocket of my Filofax. Anyway I’m off to do my pink weight work-out now. I really don’t want to but I passed the fridge and saw my ‘Never Give Up’ magnet framed quote on it and was reminded of my fitness goals. See, I told you they were useful! mjxoxo
